Chugai Technos is involved in the development of cost-reduction technology for geothermal heat utilization systems as a project subsidized by NEDO.
Geothermal heat utilization systems have benefits such as reduction of CO2 emissions and mitigation of the heat island phenomenon, but the high introduction cost hinders their widespread use.
For this project, a consortium of four companies will be formed to adopt a direct expansion type geothermal heat pump system, and to start developing technology for reducing the cost to introduce such systems.
Chugai Technos is in charge of developing a design simulation program.
We will work toward the spread of geothermal heat utilization systems that are friendly to the global environment.
